    [Dr Who book] Only Human

Post by badwolf59 on Sat Apr 18, 2009 7:49 am

It's a new series book written in 2005, starring the 9th Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack Smile

They find a neandertal man in the 21st Century, and go investigate a few thousand years in the past, where they meet humans from the far future and their primitive, dangerous time-machine Smile

but I won't say anymore, in case you haven't read yet Wink

it's the first doctor who book I ever read, I didn't know which one to start with, but I recognised Gareth robert's name on the cover so, remembering how i liked his TV episodes of Dr who, I chose to buy his book first, and I didn't regret it !

it has everything a good tv episode has, the humor, funny lines, Captain Jack's cheekiness, suspense and adventures ! and it's easy to read (for a non-native English-speaker^^) ok, maybe it's intended for children, but it's still quite entertaining, and i think some moments could not be shown on tv anyway, at least they might shock the kids.

Still, it's a book i'd recommend to any whovian out there, I've read a couple more DrWho books now but I think I prefer Gareth Robert's Wink
